Dr. Yeluri Kalyan Chakravarthy, a dynamic healthcare entrepreneur and committed Rotarian, was born on June 5, 1969, to Smt. Tulasi and Sri Brahmananda Rao. Raised in the vibrant city of Visakhapatnam, he pursued his primary and high school education there before gaining admission to the prestigious Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College, Nagarjunasagar, based on academic merit.

Fulfilling his father's cherished dream, Dr. Chakravarthy earned his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. He further specialized in Anesthesia and Critical Care at the internationally recognized university town of Manipal.

Professional Career

Dr. Chakravarthy began his professional journey as an anesthesiologist and intensivist at CARE Emergency Hospital, Kakinada. Driven by a vision for quality and accessible healthcare, he co-founded Trust Multi Specialty Hospital (a unit of Sarvottam Health Care Pvt. Ltd.) alongside a group of like-minded young doctors. His clinical interests include Pediatric and Neuro-Anesthesia.

Recognizing the growing demands of healthcare management, he pursued an MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Administration from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. Today, he serves as the Managing Director of Sarvottam Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., overseeing multiple portfolios within the organization. Dr. Chakravarthy is also actively involved in various professional medical associations and served as the Immediate Past President of the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Homes & Private Hospitals Association.

Rotary Profile

A committed Rotarian since 2007, Dr. Chakravarthy joined the Rotary Club of Kakinada upon returning from a Group Study Exchange (GSE) program to Atlanta, USA. His service to Rotary is both passionate and impactful:

• President, Rotary Club of Kakinada (2016–17) – Led the club to significant achievements and accolades during his tenure.
• Vocational Training Team (VTT) Member to Nigeria (2017) – Contributed to 400 surgeries in just 4 days and trained professionals in Pediatric Anesthesia.
• Polio Fundraising Chair, District 3020 (2022–23) – Raised USD 130,000, the highest contribution in the Rotary Zone that year.
• Has successfully served in multiple leadership roles at the District level.

Dr. Chakravarthy is a Level III Major Donor, Multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society Member, and a Rotary Benefactor. He has established two named endowments—one in honor of his teacher Dr. Phaneendra Thota, and another in the name of his wife, Rtn. Andal Jayalakshmi.

Hobbies and Interests

A sportsman in his formative years, Dr. Chakravarthy represented Visakhapatnam District, his college, and university in basketball. He also played cricket, volleyball, and table tennis at the college level. A strong advocate for physical fitness, he continues to mentor and train individuals in fitness.

He is the Founder President of the Godavari Cycling Club and has successfully completed endurance rides of 100, 200, 300, and 400 kilometers (BRMs).

Family: Dr. Chakravarthy is married to Mrs. Andal Jayalakshmi, a qualified dietician and homemaker. The couple is blessed with two sons:

• Dr. Prithvi – Pursuing his final year of MD in Anesthesia
• Raghuveer – A software engineer
